May is NF Awareness Month so we are inviting schools across the country to GO BLUE OR GREEN on May 17!
Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow on nerves in the body, including the brain and spine. There is no cure - but there is hope!
Why dress in blue or green? To help the Children’s Tumour Foundation start a national conversation about NF.
People with NF and other genetic conditions often feel isolated, misunderstood and alone. BUT, talking openly about NF can be the first step in building understanding and acceptance amongst peers. We want you to help us celebrate diversity (including genetic diversity) by bringing NF out of the shadows and demonstrating that our differences don’t have to divide us, but can bring us closer.
