“It was so good to be able to do something that's connected to my child’s NF that isn't an appointment, or forms, or additional worries and burden. It was so lovely to finally be able to do something FUN that we could only do because he has NF1.”

WHAT TO EXPECT

NF community camps provide members of the NF community the opportunity to build supportive relationships with their peers and others walking a similar journey, who know and understand NF.

Our aim is to help our community of NF families increase feelings of social inclusion, connection and support.

Activities

At The Tops people find the time to learn, the time to reflect, the time to relax, the time to build relationships, the time to heal, the time to seek adventure, be challenged and to have fun. With things to enjoy such as archery, giant swing, climbing tower and high ropes course.

Of course if you feel like coming to camp and just relaxing, we've got you covered for that too!

An activity schedule will be released closer to the camp. All activities are optional and may be subject to change due to weather and staffing considerations.

The CTF staff will host an adult NF information session before dinner on Saturday night. You will have the opportunity to improve your knowledge about all things NF, including support services and resources. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences in a safe and supportive setting.

Accommodation & Catering

Tops Centre will accommodate your needs for the whole weekend.

As is customary in the group accommodation industry, guests supply their own personal bedding and towels, however, pillows are provided.

Comfortable individual rooms for each family sleeping up to 6 people

All meals provided

Aim to cater for all dietary requirements

Don't miss out!

This is your chance to meet with people you may have only ever connected with online, as well as other families who truly "get it." Each camp attendee will receive an official Children's Tumour Foundation cap at no cost.

Covid safety information

We take the safety of all our community members very seriously. Rest assured a full COVID-safe plan is in place and the CTF and all campers will adhere to the COVID-Safe policies and procedures put in place by the venue. The camp is spacious with lots of outdoor areas for activities and relaxation. Face masks, hand sanitizer and wipes will be on hand for use indoors with social distancing encouraged where possible. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep everyone updated as camp approaches.
