The only constant with NF is it's unpredictability. However, what you experience as a child or teenager will be different to what you experience as an adult too. Depending on your stage of life, take a look at the section that suits your current needs.

NF for Parents

A section for parents to find ways to engage with your child about NF, what to keep an eye on duringtheir childhood, common issues faced as well as many other useful resources.

NF for Teens

There’s a lot going on as we barrel towards becoming an adult! The teenage years are a time for increased independence, which includes transitioning to managing your own health and ensuring your own knowledge about NF and the required ongoing care is understood.

NF for Adults

Most people have been managing their NF for years, but there are some other considerations as we age. Routine medical surveillance is still required – particularly for breast screening. Planning a family, pregnancy and menopause for women, are also times when NF symptoms may fluctuate.
