Get Support

The Children’s Tumour Foundation is the only national patient advocacy and support organisation for people impacted by neurofibromatosis (NF) in Australia. We provide free personalised support and resources; advocate for change and help enable promising research.

We support families throughout their diagnosis, treatment and beyond. We know that NF can change with each stage of life and no two cases are ever the same. We are here to listen, guide and help you solve the problems you face.

Who we support

We are called the Children’s Tumour Foundation because NF is most often diagnosed in childhood, but we support adults too and everyone touched by NF.

Our community includes everyone living with Neurofibromatosis (NF) in Australia (diagnosed and/or undiagnosed), along with their family, carers and friends.

How we help

We’re focused on a wrap around, person-centred approach to care, and provide free of charge programs including: health navigation, emotional support, peer connection and carer support. We also fun two pediatric NF Clinics in Sydney and Melbourne and continue to advocate for improved care across the country.

NF Navigator Helpline

Our team of support coordinators have a wealth of knowledge about NF.

You can reach the team on Monday to Friday from 9.00am – 5.00pm AEST on 02 9713 6111 or at support@ctf.org.au

Ways to connect

NF Connect

CTF’s monthly virtual sessions provide an opportunity for the NF community to share stories, updates and empathy. There are five groups to help you connect with others who share a similar lived experience.

Private Facebook group

Outside of the events we organise throughout the year, you can join our closed Facebook group and instantly connect with the CTF and other NF families.

Community events

Throughout the year we provide opportunities for connection to improve the well-being of individuals and expand support networks.
