Neurofibromatosis (NF) in all its forms is complex, unpredictable and progressive. It is also life-long, so it is important that you have a team of healthcare professionals with knowledge and experience of the condition (where possible). But most importantly, your healthcare team should be made up of a GP and specialists you trust and who listen to your concerns .

They should also be prepared to educate themselves on how NF may affect you or your child over the course of a lifetime.
