The NF Hero challenge is an opportunity to challenge yourself physically, mentally or emotionally; face a fear or give something up you can’t live without. By doing so, you'll raise money for the Children’s Tumour Foundation and find your inner strength.

Anyone! Whether you’re an individual, a team, a bunch of mates, or an entire sports club – registering for the NF Hero Challenge is easier than you might think. If you’re under 16, you’ll just have to get parental consent first (it’s a legal thing) – but use it as an excuse to get them to sponsor you!

Once complete send a scanned copy or photograph to fundraising@ctf.org.au

It is completely FREE to register and participate in the NF Hero Challenge.

1. Sign up – register your details to take on a challenge at any time of the year 
2. Get a team together – stepping up with friends, family or colleagues is way more fun and will help keep you accountable
3. Start talking about what you are doing and why – we want more people to know about NF and why their donations are important
4. Do your challenge – make sure you film, photograph or track your journey so that others can see your progress

The NF Hero Challenge is an online fundraising campaign that runs any time of the year. You decide where and when to complete your challenge.

You can buy a cape on our online store for just $20! They come in adult and kids sizes and certainly give you that Super Hero vibe!

The Children’s Tumour Foundation is the leading national body supporting those living with Neurofibromatosis (NF) in Australia. Every 3 days a child is born with NF in Australia yet awareness remains far too low. You'll help fund vital research, create awareness and provide practical support for people with all types of NF.

Raise as much as you can. Every dollar raised goes towards supporting the NF community. 

The more you raise, the more impact you'll have!

We want to make fundraising easy, so we have some great resources to help you do that. Your best tool is your online fundraising page – easy to set up and easy to share. It is the best way to get donations and spread the word about your NF Hero Challenge. From your fundraising page dashboard you can also download your event guide as well as event posters, social posts and email signatures. All available to help make your NF Hero challenge a success.

Yes, they will, however it will not link with your online fundraising page. If you let us know about your Facebook fundraiser, we can keep track and add this to your page at a later point. Click here to find out how to set up a fundraiser on Facebook.

Facebook donations are handled and held by a third party, and Facebook doesn’t have the functionality to sync donations to a fundraisers page at the moment. We’re working with Facebook to try to find a solution for the future, but currently we advise you to let us know if you set up a campaign or post as we do not get notified if you set up a fundraiser.

Definitely! We’d love to see what you’re up to. You can post your photos directly onto our Facebook and Instagram pages and tag us in stories and posts on Instagram with @ctfaustralia. Don't forget to use the hashtag #conquernf and #nfherochallenge so we can like or share your post!
