“It was so good to be able to do something that's connected to my child’s NF that isn't an appointment, or forms, or additional worries and burden. It was so lovely to finally be able to do something FUN that we could only do because he has NF1.”

WHAT TO EXPECT

NF Camps provide members of the NF community the opportunity to build supportive relationships with their peers and others walking a similar journey, who know and understand NF.

Our aim is to help our community of NF families increase feelings of social inclusion, connection and support.

Activities

Camp Kindiland offers all of the action-packed outdoor activities you might expect from a Queensland holiday. Some may be a little challenging, but all of them are guaranteed to make sure that both kids and adults leave feeling energised and refreshed. These include, abseiling, archery, canoeing, climbing, giant swing and of course, if you feel like coming to camp and just relaxing, we've got you covered for that too!

An activity schedule will be released closer to the camp. All activities are optional and may be subject to change due to weather and staffing considerations.

The CTF staff will host an adult NF information session before dinner on Saturday night. You will have the opportunity to improve your knowledge about all things NF, including support services and resources. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences in a safe and supportive setting. After dinner, is a time to relax and unwind after a busy day. The kids can watch a movie, colour in or do some craft activities.
