2024 western austraLIA NF CAMP

Join us for a beautiful Western Australia getaway in March 2024. 

Expect fun, connection and relaxation with the NF community and Children's Tumour Foundation team, in a beautiful setting.

We'll descend upon Point Walter Recreation Centre, located approximately 20 minutes from Perth CBD. Our campsite is a beautiful facility that overlooks the Swan River and the city of Perth. Point Walter provides fantastic opportunities for outdoor recreation programs as well as modern and functional facilities.

Connect with other members of the NF community and the CTF team in an idyllic location whilst still stepping out of your comfort zone with some super fun indoor and outdoor activities. 

CAMP DETAILS:

When: 5pm Friday 22nd March - 11am Sunday 24th March 2024

Where: Point Walter Recreation Centre

Arrival: 5pm

Departure: Check-out is at 11am from the camp site

Cost: A deposit amount of $50 will be fully refunded at the conclusion of the camp, in addition to the $1 fee per ticket.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be in writing 10 days prior to camp, in order to receive a refund of your $50 booking fee. Cancellations after this time may be considered for a refund of the booking fee at the discretion of the Children's Tumour Foundation.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Accomodation:

  • Each family has there own room which contains 2 bunk beds (4 people/room)
  • Most rooms have en-suites. 
  • All linen is provided
  • All accommodation and dining areas around the centre can be accesses by hard surface paths and ramps and universal access shower and toilet facilities are available in all accommodation and function room areas.

Catering:

  • All meals provided – special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice
  • No self catering permitted

Point Walter Facilities:

  • Basketball court
  • Tennis Court
  • Volleyball Court
  • Swimming Pool
  • Grassed open space

Activities:

Outdoor instructor led recreational activities will be offered on Saturday 23 March. The instuctors are qualified and highly experienced to ensure safety at all times. All activities are optional. Some of the activities on offer include:

  • Flying Fox
  • Ropes
  • Archery
  • Paddling
  • Crate Climb

The CTF will also offer arts and craft for those wanting a slower pace.

Some receation programs (abseiling, flying fox, archery and paddling) can be modified to suit various disability. Access to modified activities is dependent on staff availability.

We take the safety of all our community members very seriously. Rest assured a full COVID-safe plan is in place and the CTF and all campers will adhere to the COVID-Safe policies and procedures put in place by the venue. The camp is spacious with lots of outdoor areas for activities and relaxation. Face masks, hand sanitizer and wipes will be on hand for use indoors with social distancing encouraged where possible.
