Why are we fundraising

Our early childcare centre is fundraising for Neurofibromatosis (NF) because this cause is deeply personal to our community. We have supported children affected by NF within our centre one who previously attended and one who is currently part of our care. NF is a complex genetic disorder that can cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, leading to a wide range of physical and emotional challenges. As educators and caregivers, we see firsthand the strength and resilience of these children, as well as the impact NF has on their families. By fundraising, we hope to raise awareness, contribute to vital research, and support families facing similar journeys. This is more than just a cause for our centre it’s part of our community, and we are committed to making a meaningful difference.
