Children's Tumour Foundation of Australia

Unshakeable Circle of Support

conquering nf takes a team

A child is born with NF every three days. They need a lifetime of support.

Each year in Australia, around 100 children are born with neurofibromatosis (NF), a diagnosis that can leave parents feeling a deep sense of grief and loss for what could have been. As hard as it may be for a parent navigating the unknown, it is even tougher to be a young child trying to understand why this has happened to them.

The implications are immediate, but the impact is both lifelong and uncertain. A single gene change has the potential to effect so many areas of the body without any clear understanding of when, where and how each new tumour will impact function.

Every family facing this complex and uncertain future deserves a dependable support network.

Because NF is unpredictable, we are calling on the community to make their support unshakeable

The Children's Tumour Foundation is excited to relaunch our regular giving program as the Circle of Support.

The Circle of Support is a community of caring people committed to improving the lives and health outcomes of everyone living with NF in Australia.

Regular donors ensure our work can happen today, tomorrow and in the future. This includes funding personalised support services, creating opportunities to connect and fund ground-breaking trials and studies.

We remain committed to helping children with tumours to live a life without limitations, and we are so grateful to know it’s a commitment many others share.
