Become a volunteer for CTF’s Telefundraising and Donor Outreach Program.

NF News / 03 Sep 2018

Unlike many other not-for-profit organisations, the Children’s Tumour Foundation manages all of its community fundraising internally. We do not recruit telemarketers, because we want to personally strengthen our relationship with our donors and not pay exorbitant fees.

We are currently looking for volunteers from within our NF community to assist with our Telefundraising and Donor Outreach Program. Initially we will be calling existing donors, and only once every six months.

The reason we are asking for community assistance is because we want people to represent CTF, who understand NF and the importance of fundraising in our goal to Conquer NF!

CTF is the ONLY not-for-profit organisation in Australia supporting those impacted by NF. We receive no Federal Government funding, and so rely solely on the generosity of the community.

The role:
Volunteers will be provided with induction and training so that they can confidently represent CTF and help us raise much needed funds so that CTF can continue its support and research programs.

You can volunteer for as many hours, or days you would like per week or fortnight. You need to be confident in verbal communication and have strong interpersonal skills. You will also need internet access and an unlimited phone plan.

If this sounds like you, please give Rachel Skelton a call on 0432625860.

This is a great way to make a real difference and improve awareness about NF!

Volunteering is a recognised activity by the Department of Human Services and will be counted towards the “activity” required for access to subsidised child care. Please consider volunteering for CTF today.
