Volunteers play an important role in helping to raise funds, awareness and support for NF.
The support of CTF’s volunteers helps to ensure the success of some of the Foundation’s key events and programs. As a volunteer for CTF there is the opportunity to gain a wide range of skills and experience, make new friends, gain valuable work experience, and make a difference. You can volunteer for CTF in one or more of the following ways.
To apply send your CV and an outline of the experience you are seeking to email@example.com.
If you want to get involved, but are unable to commit to an extended period of time, volunteering at a CTF event is the perfect opportunity for you! Inspire our corporate guests at the Gala Dinner, encourage our runners at one of our runs or walks, or lend a helping hand to a fundraiser happening in your local community.
Each event is unique and has a variety of roles, whether it is welcoming guests, collecting donations, set up/pack down or managing registration and merchandise.
There is always something to do at our events, and we could not do it without the help of our volunteers!
Are you studying a related course or looking to build a career in the not-for-profit sector? An internship is a great way to get your foot in the door and gain some valuable skills and meaningful experiences in a professional environment.
As an intern you will be volunteering your time to assist the CTF team with upcoming campaigns, projects and other daily tasks. Build your marketing and PR skills by helping us with media and promotions, use your events knowledge to assist in organising our fundraising events, or put your design skills to use by creating posters and graphics for our website, social media and events.
Internship opportunities will depend on your interests and availability, and the campaigns and projects that are in progress.
- Skilled Professional
If you are retired, semi-retired, work part-time, or have some spare time and would like to get involved with charity, consider volunteering your professional skills.
We invite skilled professionals from all specialties, including but not limited to public relations, marketing, database administration, events management and fundraising.
Whether you wish to be hands-on with tasks, or would prefer to provide strategic advice, we would love to hear from you.
- Office Administration
Are you available to help at the CTF national office in inner west Sydney? As a small organisation we are always looking for anyone who is willing to provide some help and support with day-to-day tasks and general administration duties.
Office and general administration volunteers are vital to ensuring the organisation and its projects run smoothly and effectively.
With the guidance and support of staff, office administration volunteers may be assigned to a specific event or campaign, or to general CTF duties, and may be required to do the following tasks: database and donation entry, reception, mail collection and sorting, donation receipting, stock inventory, and more.
Our work would not be possible without the support and generosity of our volunteers.
Make a difference and be a CTF volunteer today!
