Our NF Heroes are not ordinary people — they are extraordinary, but their lives are often far from normal.
NF can lead to a range of significant health issues including deafness, blindness, paralysis, physical differences, bone abnormalities, cancer, learning difficulties and chronic pain.
They also live with anxiety and depression, not knowing whether their tumour is growing, learning difficulties that make school and developing friendships a struggle, bullying and more.
