Our board has extensive professional knowledge and are all well- respected in their areas of expertise. Each member of the board plays an important role in strategic planning at the Children’s Tumour Foundation and gives their time and skills on a voluntary basis.
Kerrie Kelly, Chair
Kerrie was appointed the CTF’s Chair in Oct 2019. She has extensive experience in leadership and executive roles in financial services (banking, insurance, financial planning), transport, manufacturing, health and law; across law firms, corporates, governments, family businesses and member associations. First working as a commercial lawyer, and then in strategy positions in ANZ Banking Group’s Retail Bank, Kerrie subsequently held various leadership positions including: Director, Corporate Secretariat, Roads and Traffic Authority (NSW); CEO, Financial Planning Association of Australia; Executive Director, Insurance Council of Australia; Director General, Association of British Insurers; Interim CEO, Australian Physiotherapy Council. Previously, Kerrie has been a non-executive director of Rockend Technology, HSBC Bank Australia, Financial Literacy Advisory Board, Financial Ombudsman Service, Finance Industry Council of Australia, National Finance Industry Training Advisory Body, Westmead Institute for Medical Research and Westmead Medical Research Foundation.
Kerrie has extensive experience in leading and implementing public policy, advocacy, corporate governance, as well as leading and developing people and so is well placed to lead the CTF into the next decade.
Laurence Dell, Director
Chair of Victorian State Committee
Laurence is a Partner at PwC in Melbourne, leading the enterprise performance improvement practice. He specialises in delivering productivity programs that result in significantly improved and sustainable business performance. With over 15 years consulting experience, Laurence has led complex performance improvement projects across a range of industries. He is an expert in the telecommunications industry and also chairs our Victorian State Committee.
Nirmal Hansra, Director

Member of the Lisa Palmer Foundation Committee
Nirmal is Chair of Campbell Page Ltd and Link Housing Ltd and Non-Executive Director of Have A Voice Pty Ltd. He has more than 13 years’ corporate advisory and board experience and 35 years’ senior executive experience as Finance Director/ Chief Financial Officer of leading Australian and International companies, including Industrea Ltd, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Ruralco Holdings Ltd, Rentworks Ltd, NetComm Australia Pty Ltd, Fujitsu Australia Ltd and Texas Instruments Australia Ltd. Nirmal’s extensive governance, strategic and corporate planning and financial experience makes him the ideal chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Alissa Hildebrand, Director
Member of Marketing Committee
Alissa is Managing Partner of VIP Sydney and the former Chief Operating Officer of Beluga Capital and former CEO of Valet Private – Australia’s leading Concierge and Travel business catering to High Net Worth Individuals and Families. She has more than 20 years’ experience in a variety of executive roles both in Australia and the United States. Her industry experience covers media, banking, healthcare, technology, childcare and travel. Alissa’s strong marketing background and network gained through her career is of great benefit to the CTF and her membership of the Marketing Committee.
Peter Krideras, Director

Peter has more than 20 years’ retail experience and is the former co-founder and director of Global Market Place, which owned Australia’s leading online events platform Click Frenzy and number one online publication Power Retail. Peter’s strong background in digital marketing is of huge benefit to the CTF’s Marketing Committee.
Stephen Kulmar, Director
Chair of Marketing Committee
Stephen is Chair of Edge & Co Pty Ltd and Founder of Retail Oasis, a boutique retail marketing service company. He was previously Chairman and CEO of IdeaWorks and has more than 40 years’ experience in retail and brand strategy, channel to market strategy and business development. Steve’s vast marketing and brand strategy experience as well as network of colleagues means he is well placed to chair the CTF’s Marketing Committee.
Donna Player, Director
Member of Marketing Committee
Donna is the Merchandise Director at Camilla Australia. Donna has worked in the Australian Retail market for over 30 years and held senior positions in many iconic brands including David Jones, Big W, Katies and Grace Bros. Donna is also a non-executive director of Accent Group and Baby Bunting. Donna has a strong background in brand, merchandise and supplier strategy and is an active member of the CTF’s Marketing Committee.
Hugo Dudley-Smith, Director
Member of Audit & Risk Committee
Hugo is a Managing Director of the independent investment firm Gresham Advisory Partners. He has extensive experience in providing advice in relation to corporate strategy, M&A transactions and capital raising and previously worked with Goldman Sachs in London and Sydney. Hugo’s strong financial background and network is of great benefit to the CTF and his membership of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Lisa Shand, Director
Member of Audit & Risk Committee
Lisa has more than 30 years’ experience as an institutional account executive in the Australian equity market working for global investment banks such as ABN Amro, RBS Equities Australia Ltd and Nomura Australia Ltd. She is currently Director of Sydney, Morgans Financial Ltd. Lisa’s background lends itself well to the CTF’s Audit and Risk Committee.
John Slack-Smith, Director
Member of the Audit and Risk Committee
John is the Executive Director and COO of Harvey Norman. John started his career with Harvey Norman over 23 years ago, spending the majority of his time in the Computer and Communications Division, rising quickly through the ranks to be appointed General Manager of that division in July 1999. Soon after he was appointed Executive Director in March 2001 and Chief Operating Officer in 2005. John also serves on the Barker College Council and is also the Chairman of the Barker College Foundation. His strong financial and operational efficiency background serves the CTF’s Audit and Risk Committee well.
Adon Tse, Director
Adon originally qualified with a Bachelors Degree in Medical and Health Sciences. Since then he has had a 10 year career in the advisory, funds management and financial and property markets. An active businessman, securities trader and investor in Australia, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore he founded and is managing director of Royale Group of Companies in Sydney.
