Events to Get Involved In
With the Children’s Tumour Foundation, there’s always a meaningful way to get involved and make a small or large contribution to the lives of those affected by NF. See below for more information on our key fundraising events Cupid’s Undie Run, Walk of Hope and Tough Mudder.
Cupid’s Undie Run
February 2017 will mark the 5th anniversary of Cupids Undie Run in Australia, and what better way to celebrate than to take it national.
Until now, Cupid’s was held in in Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast. On the back of the success in 2016, we have decided to take on the challenge of expanding this novelty event to 12 cities across Australia, with a target of $375,000!
Being held on Sunday 19 February 2017, to coincide with all of the Valentine’s Day festivities, join us on this journey to help conquer NF by registering today; REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN. Click here to register.
Walk of Hope
Walk of Hope is our annual family and community walk which raises funds and awareness for NF.
2016 was the inaugural Walk of Hope taking place in Sydney and Melbourne, where hundreds of walkers came together again for this fun, family-friendly event, and walked across some of Australia's most iconic coastal landscapes.
If you’re wanting to join in on all the Yellow Penguin Army fun and bring along the entire family, then Walk of Hope is just for you. Details to follow in March on where and when for 2017.
For the first time ever, Yellow Penguin Army will be running through all the obstacles of Tough Mudder in 2017. If you want to take fundraising to a whole new level then WATCH THIS SPACE because we’ll have an offer you cannot resist.
Tough Mudder is an obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit. Tough Mudder is not about how fast you can cross the finish line, rather it’s a challenge that emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie, and accomplishing something almost as tough as you are.
If you’re office is looking to do some team bonding, then look no further and get in touch with our National Events and Fundraising Manager for more information on 02 9713 6111.
